Lynn Stephens-Tait

Born in Sydney, Australia.

 

I began taking photos in my pre-teen years, when my Mum and Dad bought me a 'Diana' camera. After various other camera types, I progressed to a Fujica film SLR in my early 20's, then onto Nikon gear prior to travelling in Africa. And in more recent years, converted to Nikon DSLR's.

Having always loved taking photos, I enrolled with the Photography Institute and in 2014 and completed the Diploma of Professional Photography along with the Advanced Landscapes & Travel Photography module. The module's assignment was to shoot a portfolio of images, worthy of being presented to a Travel Editor to attract tourism to my home town. The portfolio which showcases aspects of the Tweed and Gold Coasts, and the Tweed Valley can be seen on this website.

My absolute passion is travel photography, which encompasses seascapes, landscapes and wildlife. I joined Photo Arts Club Tweed and have obtained the required awards to progress to A Grade status.

My dream to upgrade to a Nikon full frame camera with professional lenses and filters has been realised. And I continue to become the best photographer than I can be.
